What are the benefits of working with VBS Virtual Assist?

You will be working with a complete professional who has a passion for supporting business owners to achieve their goals for success in their business.   I have nearly 30 years of high level administrative and business management skills and experience.  I spent many of those years in the traditional brick and mortar small to medium sized companies then the last 10 of those years in corporate.  In February 2008 I transferred all my business skills over to the virtual space when I created VBS Virtual Assist, LLC.  I enhanced those skills to fit into my new online and entrepreneurial career by completing The Fast Trac Entrepreneur Program, VA Internet Marketing Program, 1ShoppingCart Master Strategist Certification and the most significant training, Online Business Management Certification Program with Tina Forsyth and Andrea Lea.

The benefits to you are:

  • You are working with someone who cares about your success and will treat your business just like my own.  When you succeed, I succeed!
  • I am a business owner just like you and understand the business owner perspective.
  • I have a complete office just like you would find in an executive office, except I don’t have to keep moving every time management makes a decision.
  • I am trained in all the principals needed to help you run your business.
  • I pay my own taxes.
  • I have a huge network of resources to complete your projects.  If I can’t help you, I can certainly find someone who can.
  • I have great testimonials from satisfied business owners, offline and online!

What is an Online Business Manager?

The official definition of an Online Business Manager (OBM) is a virtually based support professional who manages online based businesses, including the day-to-day management of projects, operations, management of team members, metrics management, and development of multiple streams of income.  OBM’s work with fewer clients than the Virtual Assistant, but on with a higher level of support.

What is a Virtual Assistant?

A Virtual Assistant (VA) is an entrepreneur who provides professional administrative, technical, or creative (social) assistance to clients from a home office.  Most VA’s start their practices after performing and excelling as administrative professionals in the traditional office space (brick and mortar) in such positions as executive assistant, office manager/supervisor, legal assistant, paralegal, legal secretary, real estate assistant and information technology.

How will I know what level of service I will require?

The level of service you will require will be determined in your free 30 minute phone call.  Please feel free to click on the button in the side bar that says, “Click Here to Schedule an Appointment”.  This will take you into my calendar.  Before our meeting you will be sent a short assessment form to be completed and returned to me before our meeting to make the best use our 30 minutes.

What type of relationship will we have?

My expectations and business model are built on a long term relationship with my clients.  As I become more and more knowledgeable about your business the more value I can add to the bottom line.

How will we communicate?

Common modes of communication and data delivery include the Internet, e-mail and phone call conferences, online work spaces, and fax machine.

When are you available?

My office hours are Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Friday’s from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon. But I am not always available during that time.  Since I work with other clients, I may need to be focused on their projects for a while, just as I need to be focused on yours.  I do not offer instant turn around on projects – it’s not fair to everyone else.  If we have something coming up that we know will be on a tight time frame, we will make sure that we discuss it at our weekly meetings so that we have the plan and the time in place.

What about fees?

As an Online Business Manager it is my goal to support the growth and success of your business without having to worry about every minute that it takes to complete projects.  Therefore, I work on a retainer basis that you and I can decide on together.  We estimate the number of hours that you will need me each month and then decide on a retainer fee.

Additional compensation is negotiated based your company needs and goals.

I would like to work with you.  What do I do next?
